hello
UX Designer — Based in India

I design products people don't have to think about.

Research first, screens second. I turn user frustration into interfaces that feel obvious — and test them to prove it.

Chapter 01 The Human

Design decisions, not design guesses.

Every project starts with questions. Who are the users? What are they actually struggling with? What does the data say?

I'm Tathagat — a UX designer from India. Research, empathy maps, wireframes, Figma, usability testing, iteration. Accessibility is a requirement, not a feature.

Bonus: I've studied marketing psychology — my designs move business metrics too.

Chapter 02 The Proof

Case Studies

Three projects, three different problems. One consistent process: research, design, test, iterate.

B2B SaaS HR Tech AI-Powered UX

ATS Redesign with AI Assistant

Applicant tracking systems are where recruiter productivity goes to die. I redesigned the experience around an AI assistant that surfaces the right information at the right moment — so recruiters focus on people, not process.

What this shows: Enterprise workflows, AI without overwhelm, information architecture at scale.

Unhad — Hindustani Classical Music Learning Platform

A digital home for an art form taught face-to-face for centuries — respectful of the guru-shishya tradition, approachable for modern learners.

What this shows: 0→1 design, tradition balanced with usability, two very different user groups.

Reimagining Jio Cinema — case study cover
OTT Streaming UX Research Usability Testing

Reimagining Jio Cinema

70% of Indian streaming users are frustrated with navigation. I researched, surveyed, and usability-tested a smarter discovery and "Continue Watching" experience.

What this shows: Full-cycle UX — from research questions to tested iterations.

Chapter 03 The Method

No mystery. No magic.

Just a process that keeps users at the center from the first question to the final iteration.

01

Understand

Frame the problem. Market data, competitor patterns, existing studies — before any wireframe.

02

Listen

Surveys, interviews, empathy maps. Assumptions become evidence.

03

Design

Wireframes to hi-fi Figma prototypes, on scalable component libraries. Accessibility baked in.

04

Test & Iterate

Testing with real users drives the next round. A design is never finished, only shipped.

Chapter 04 The Toolkit

What I Bring

UX Research

Surveys, user interviews, empathy mapping, competitive analysis, secondary research synthesis.

Design

Wireframing, high-fidelity UI, prototyping, design systems & component libraries in Figma.

Validation

Usability testing, iteration based on user feedback, accessibility auditing.
